Finally - more staff to help WTC sick.

BREAKING: Following sustained pressure from the 9/11 community, HHS Secretary Kennedy has agreed to lift the NIOSH hiring freeze and bring on 37 new staff members to the World Trade Center Health Program.

While this is a massive step toward fixing delays in care, our work is far from over. As Secretary Kennedy prepares to testify before Congress, we implore him to end the communication freeze and stop the restrictions preventing the program from speaking freely with the 9/11 community.

We need an immediate decision on the recognition of cognitive, cardiac and autoimmune conditions as 9/11 illnesses, alongside the full restoration of research funding to continue studying the long-term effects of 9/11 toxins.

We won’t stop until everyone receives the care and transparency they deserve.
