A look back at last month’s Neuro PT clinic — over 200 patients seen in 3 days, alongside continued education and teamwork. Grateful to have shared this experience with Dr. Nia, the PT team, Ghana Spine and Health (), and our wonderful hosts. Ending the days with learning, healing, and connection. 🙏✨

🌍 Day 2 in Akim Oda 🌍

Day 2 was all about pediatrics and learning! 💙 Our team evaluated and treated children with CP, brachial plexus injury, torticollis, and seizure disorders. Dr. Mensah presented on CP and rehab, while Dr. Maybel—Ghana’s first female neurosurgeon—shared on neurosurgical cases like myelomeningocele and tumors. Dr. Freda also led a session on stroke, Parkinson’s, and Myasthenia Gravis.

Huge thanks to our PT team—Francis, Hilda & Raph—for collaborating on every evaluation and showing the ropes. 🙌🏾

✨ Impact in Akim Oda ✨
Kusudi International partnered with Ghana Brain & Spine to provide free medical screenings, educational sessions, and equipment donations to support the development of a rehab program. 💙

🎥 Dr. Max Boakye spoke about the mission, while the Medical Director shared about Oda Government Hospital’s 100-year milestone. We’re especially proud that one of our Kusudi members was on the ground serving as the team’s PT, leading the rehab seminar. 🙌🏾

Kusudi International and Ghana Brain and Spine are partnering to conduct free medical screens, educational sessions and provide equipment donations to help develop a rehab program in Akim Oda. One of our board members will be traveling as the team’s PT to lead the rehab seminar on Tuesday 8/19 afternoon. The team is comprised of neurosurgeons, physicians, nurses and residents. From a conversation to a calling—Fort Peck became the next stop on our journey. 💙💛

What started as a shared vision over two years ago finally came to life through divine timing and powerful partnerships. This wasn’t just a trip—it was a manifestation of purpose.

We had the honor of joining forces with Natalie Weeks O'Neal, USC classmate and fierce leader of Thundering Buffalo Health & Wellness Center - HPDP. This connection was no accident—it was alignment. 🙏🏽

✨ Dr. Yvonne Buhler Egitto came ready to educate and evaluate.
✨ Professor Emeritus Robbie O’Shea went above and beyond—donating an entire truck of essential adaptive equipment for the children we serve.

To say we’re grateful is an understatement. Our hearts are full. Our purpose, reaffirmed. To GOD Be The Glory for the great things He has done—and continues to do.
