Sharing Behalf of Dr. Sanchari Bhattacharya
Dear friends,
Hope my message finds you very well.
I am reaching out to the music fraternity in and around New York, especially to those who have been extremely supportive of the past endeavors by MandraSaptak, a forum founded in 2013 for organizing Indian Classical Music Baithaks with audience support.
After more than a decade, MandraSaptak Baithaks USA is coming up with a more focused plan of regular concerts.
The upcoming baithak by MSB will be held on September 28th, in Brooklyn. If you and your friends wish to be on MSB email list and want to donate and attend, please let me know. I am looking forward to building a community from NYC and nearby cities so that the funds may be gathered and artists may be paid a respectable remuneration. Any number of supporters and donations are very welcome! One time purchase tickets will be available too.
This will be a work out of love and completely non-profit.
Being a student and a performer now, it is also my duty to spread Raaga Music, within our capabilities and limitations. Only the support from more like-minded friends may help propagate this endeavor. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me for any questions.
Deepest regards,
Sanchari Bhattacharyya
Vocalist (Hindusthani Classical Music)

Dear Friends, Shubho Bijoya. Best wishes to all of you for a great year ahead. Thank you all for joining us for the online Durga Puja this year from all around the globe and making this puja and the cultural programme, a great success. Special Thanks to Kalpita, Sagarika, Triparna and Riki for conducting the puja. Thanks to the decorating members for their immense effort and unique ideas for putting up a wonderful display. A big thank you to all those silent members who wished for the grand success and worked towards that. United BARI stands. We are proud that we did not have to pause our celebration and fun. We are really thankful that we were able to conduct this year puja with the balance from previous years. This year BARI has reached new heights by not only breaking the stereotype of gender domination but also coming into the forefront of the world.
