Hearts of Gold is supremely grateful to „Our Kind of New York“ for highlighting and elevating one woman’s charitable mission of 32 years, during their day-long curated experience of shining a light on the BEST of this beautiful city!

Hosted by partners Sydney Stinson Ferguson & David McKnight, this special day featured Hearts of Gold‘s Founder & CEO and small business owner of Noir et Blanc NYC, her French themed women’s clothing boutique Deborah N. Koenigsberger

The 7000sq ft space was LIT as this select group of distinguished, highly accomplished women kicked off the day with breakfast and a shopping experience at both Tth Vintage Boutique and

The opportunity for Deborah to share the mission of Hearts of Gold was tremendous! Since 1994, Hearts of Gold has been supporting and lifting homeless mothers and their children living in NYC shelters, by providing the resources and services, they need to get back on their feet.

A huge shoutout of gratitude to Sydney, David and their remarkable clients for their purchases! Every dollar raised has a mission behind it!

Our Kind of New York, thank you for including us in this memorable experience! It meant everything🙏🏾!

From assembling backpacks and preparing Fresh Start Bags to a major pickup of our First Pantry Boxes - so much is happening at Hearts of Gold, all because of YOU.

And we’re not slowing down. These programs are ongoing, and your support makes it possible to keep showing up for our moms and kids living in NYC shelters.

It's officially back-to-school season and the backpack assembly has begun!

Our Founder & CEO Deborah N. Koenigsberger is giving us a first look at this year's backpacks - from 3K to 8th grade! All this, so that children living in New York City shelters start the school year equipped, confident and excited to excel! Heartfelt thanks to this year‘s Platinum Sponsor AWARE: Assisting Women through Action, Resources & Education for their fundraising campaign in support of this year's Backpack Giveaway, and to everyone who has already donated.
