We are writing to you with a heartfelt request for your support in our Crystal Sound Sanctuary Funding Campaign. As our team continues to dedicate ourselves to creating a special space for regenerative farming, workshops, and retreats focused on healing and renewal, your contributions are essential to sustain our mission through 2025.

Founded by local medicine workers, Dr. Daniel and Marza Allen, Crystal Sound Sanctuary is a sacred space that invites individuals from all over the world to gather, rejuvenate, and engage with nature. Situated on 127 acres of ancestral farmland in Gowanda, New York, the land has been restored using sustainable, biodynamic farming techniques, transforming it into fertile ground for both agriculture and transformation.

Dr. Allen and Marza have put their heart and souls into reconstructing the land and property, a place that has been in their family for generations, transforming it into a sanctuary where friends from around the world can come to heal and reconnect. Looking ahead, we hope to expand our regenerative agriculture practices and develop a CSA program, with plans to establish a tiny house eco-village to preserve the sanctuary for future generations.

Currently, we need help to carry us through the winter and into our next summer season. We have invested heavily in the development of the sanctuary but find ourselves just shy of completion. We are in need of new farming equipment, restoring the main farmhouse in order to host more guests, fulfilling hefty tax obligations, and more.

Dear Friends,

We have what you need. Free space and free time.

July 21st – 25th.

Because time and space are intimately related, you cannot have one without the other. Well, we have some free space for you to luxuriate in. Our Crystal Sound Sanctuary is the resurrection of the back half of our family farm into a Nature Sanctuary.

We invite you to come to the sanctuary and take some space for yourself. Tell your boss you’re busy. Give the kids to your sister. Come lay your blanket out on the grass and watch the clouds roll by and let the Crystal Sounds of Nature refresh your mind and nervous system. Kids are welcome as long as you care for them.

From July 21 – July 25, we will be holding space for you to bring your time and restore yourself. We have places all over the Sanctuary to car camp. So, come rest in Nature! It does not have to be complicated. A tent, a bedroll, and a can of soup, and you can let the power of Nature heal your butt from all the chaos of our crazy life situations. We have an outdoor kitchen so you can cook a meal.

To be very clear, we are making and holding space for you. What you do with it is up to you. Come for an hour or come for four days. (I just love slumber parties) It is up to you to take care of yourself and bring what you need. Paint, read, write, or play music. You can certainly come and go as you like. You can even bring back a pizza to share.
This is an opportunity for humans to be humans together. Let’s see who shows up. Hey, let’s give humanity a chance.

There is no cost for visiting the Sanctuary during this time. If you would like to talk doctoring, both my wife, Marza, and I have over 30 years of experience doctoring to the human condition. We will be around. All of our consultations will be by donation as fund raisers for the Sanctuary.

It all starts with a Full Moon Fire Circle on Sunday evening July 21st. Come on out and dance by the light of the moon. Reflect moonlight into the face of another. Bring your drums and musical instruments and listen to story around the fire. Come as you can. Stay as you can. And in the words of Bob Marley, “Let’s get together and feel all right.”

Walking the Medicine Wheel

We are living out of touch with time and nature. Our world is in decay because we are walking against nature and the natural world.

Come and join us for a weekend in Upstate New York - where we will be building, learning, and sharing about working with the wheel of time and how to shift your relationship to time to better enrich your life….

Classes will be taught by Rev. Marza R. Millar, BSN, MA - Clinical Herbalist, Registered Hypnotherapist, Energy Balancing, Life Readings, Herbal Consultations, and Spiritual Coaching.

The best cabbage soup. Happy liver. Food!!

In my opinion, cabbage is a very underrated vegetable. Most people don’t know what a powerhouse of a food it really is. I’ve been eating it on the regular this winter to help with my healing process.
