News Media Guild The union for the information age, representing workers at AP, the Guardian US, EFE News Service and UPI.

We believe that quality journalism depends on fair working conditions for the men and women who provide the news. When journalists operate in conditions of freedom, the public is served by honest reporting that speaks truth to power. "There can be no press freedom if journalists exist in conditions of corruption, poverty, or fear." -- Motto, International Federation of Journalists

Members of those locals will receive in the mail a Notice of Election that details the dates, times and locations for balloting.
