A lively bunch of Knickerbockers traveled to Philadelphia last weekend for the Annual Spring Trip. They marked the 250th anniversary year of the Declaration of Independence by visiting the historic city where it was signed.

Highlights of the excursion included visiting Independence Hall, taking a guided tour of the old city, and seeing the new exhibit at the Museum of the American Revolution.

The Knickerbockers joined fellow DAR members, Sons, and CAR to march up 6th Avenue as part of the Tartan Day Parade on Saturday. While many daughters have Scottish Patriots, anyone who loves Scotland (or plaid) could join this fun parade which capped off a Tartan Week to remember.
