Giving Tuesday is here—and today, you have the power to bring peace, healing, and hope to people carrying some of the heaviest burdens in America.

This year, the need is urgent. Stress, trauma, and burnout continue to rise, especially among veterans, first responders, healthcare workers, women facing violence, and under-resourced communities. Many of these individuals face extraordinary challenges with limited access to meaningful support.

Through Meditate America, the David Lynch Foundation is working to change that by expanding access to the stress-reducing Transcendental Meditation® technique—at no cost—to those who need it most.

Spotlight: The Women’s Health Initiative

Women make up the majority of individuals experiencing the highest levels of toxic stress—especially those serving as caregivers, healthcare workers, survivors of violence, and mothers balancing multiple demands.

The Women’s Health Initiative (WHI) brings the healing power of Transcendental Meditation directly to these populations,
providing an evidence-based tool proven to calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and support emotional healing.

A few key research insights:

*Women are three times more likely than men to develop PTSD.
(Gender and Issues in PTSD, Handbook of PTSD, 2013)
*75% of intimate partner violence survivors develop PTSD, and more than half experience depression — far above the general female population. (Journal of Affective Disorders,
2004)
*WHI programs are now reaching women in partnership with hospitals, crisis centers, family service agencies, and veteran support programs nationwide.

Your gift today changes lives immediately.

With your support, we will bring free virtual TM introductory sessions to hundreds of U.S. cities, expanding access for thousands of at-risk individuals who otherwise would not receive this support.

And today only, your impact goes twice as far.

Your generosity can help someone experiencing trauma find calm…
help a mother regain stability…
help a healthcare worker restore resilience…
help a veteran reconnect with hope.

Thank you for helping expand Meditate America—today and every day.
