Deadline This Upcoming Friday - 3/13/26! Thank you for all of your registrations and referrals. Still know someone who could benefit from this program? You've got two more weeks to complete the Summer Youth Employment Program application with your child. 14-15-year-olds can select "Concrete Safaris" as the Provider to participate in Outdoor Play, Photo, Gardening, or Placemaking & Public Health Cohorts making up to $700 this summer. For Older Youth that want to return to our site, select an Older Youth Provider in East Harlem and ask to be placed with Concrete Safaris. This process is a lottery, run by the City of New York, which you can only win if you apply.
SYEP is a crime prevention strategy that saves lives, helping youth gain access to career readiness trainings, life skills, and access to resources when they need them most.... Youth in our program - who may otherwise have been without a kind, listening ear and access to services - have gotten resources for mental health, eating disorders, homelessness, domestic and/or peer-on-peer violence, prostitution, pregnancy, and more.
If you know a 14-15-year-old interested in self-growth and making money this summer while serving the community, please refer them to Concrete Safaris.
