The HBS Club of New York brought together experienced founders and investors for an engaging discussion on “Exited Founders and Using AI to Ideate and Identify the Next Great Company.”

The panel explored how AI is transforming idea generation, market validation, product development, and startup scaling, along with lessons from successful exits and what it takes to build enduring AI-native businesses.

A wonderful evening with our alumni as Andrew Macdonald, President & COO of Uber, shared his perspective on the forces shaping the future of the company.
Andrew shared insights on AI, autonomous vehicles, changing consumer behavior, innovation at scale, and Uber’s evolution beyond ride-hailing, drawing on the company’s unique view of consumers and earners across its global platform.

We recently welcomed Constantine Alexandrakis, CEO of Russell Reynolds Associates and author of "The Catalyst CEO", for an engaging conversation with Jordyn Holman, Business Reporter at The New York Times.

The discussion explored what distinguishes leaders who successfully navigate transformation, with several ideas resonating strongly with the audience: “unlearning the past,” embracing constructive friction, viewing culture as the operating system of transformation, and treating failure as an opportunity to learn and innovate.

A special thank you to Constantine for providing every attendee with a copy of his book and to Jordyn for guiding such a thoughtful and dynamic conversation.
