🌿 Thank you to everyone who joined us for our tour of New York Restoration Project’s Sherman Creek Park!

We had the opportunity to explore NYRP’s inspiring work transforming and stewarding more than 80 acres of parkland across Northern Manhattan. From the planting beds growing food and herbs, to peach trees, blueberry bushes, and strawberry patches, this urban agriculture hub also serves as a wetland restoration project. We saw oyster beds, seagulls, a frog, mushrooms growing, and even the Circle Line!

Overall, the Tour offered our HBSCNY guests a look at how green spaces can strengthen communities and support environmental sustainability.

A special thank you to the team at New York Restoration Project for sharing their expertise and showcasing the impact of their work in creating healthier, more vibrant neighborhoods throughout New York City.

The 57th Annual Leadership Dinner brought together the HBS alumni community for an inspiring evening of impact and connection.

More than 400 alumni, guests, and changemakers gathered at Cipriani 42nd Street to celebrate extraordinary honorees and hear inspiring words from Dean Srikant Datar and distinguished speakers. Together, we reaffirmed our shared commitment to leadership, service, and making a difference.

Thanks to the generosity of our community, the evening raised $1.4 million to support the Club’s pro bono programs, fellowships, and scholarships that strengthen nonprofits, students, and entrepreneurs across New York City.

We were thrilled to bring together industry leaders and alumni for a deep dive into the evolving private capital landscape. Lalit Reddy (CVC Capital Partners) and Chris Taylor (Third Point) shared expert perspectives on sourcing, underwriting, and scaling investments across private equity and credit, while moderator Sean Egan (MBA ’81) guided a thoughtful and dynamic discussion.

This Tuesday, we welcomed an inspiring evening of conversation and reflection with author and TED speaker Simone Stolzoff for his book, "How To Not Know: Leading Through Uncertain Times".

In discussion with Joy Batra (JD/MBA 2014), Simone explored why embracing uncertainty may be one of the most important leadership skills of our time. From navigating ambiguity to leading with values when the path forward isn’t clear, attendees walked away with research-backed insights and practical strategies for thriving in uncertain environments.

An evening of art, reflection, and dialogue at Fou Gallery 🎨

We recently gathered for a special curatorial walk-through of "Flat", Szelit Cheung’s solo exhibition, guided by curator Yifu Liu. Through luminous, contemplative works, the exhibition invited us to explore the space between presence and emptiness, and how personal perception shapes artistic experience.

Thank you to Yifu Liu and Echo Yu He for sharing their insights, and to our community for engaging so thoughtfully in this intimate cultural experience.
