Riley has taken on numerous leadership roles in advocacy and civic engagement organizations and hopes to study Public Policy in college before pursuing law school to become a Human Rights Lawyer.

As a trans, Two-Spirit, and Indigenous Latino youth organizer, he knows firsthand how vital free expression is—especially for young people whose voices are too often silenced. Abagayle is a high school junior from Pennsylvania. As a student journalist battling censorship, they are passionate about preserving freedom of speech, especially as it pertains to writing and literature.
