🆘 Blind dog needs a foster!
When we rescued Float from a shelter in NC, we weren’t told that he was partially blind. He gets around fine at home, but due to impaired vision he keeps stumbling into his foster’s pool area and putting himself in danger.

Float is about 8 years old and weighs 50 lbs. He’s extremely friendly with people, dogs and cats. He’s house trained, crate trained, and walks nicely on leash.

Please reach out if you can foster him or if you’re interested in adopting. Even though he’s blind, he’s just a happy boy in need of minor accommodations for his special needs. 🙏🏼🐾

We’re down to the wire. These three senior pitbulls are coming to NYC this Saturday, 6/13. We couldn’t delay any longer because they were on the euthanasia list. ‼️Only one of them has a foster - we needed two more foster commitments yesterday. Please say yes.

📍NYC and anywhere within driving distance.
⏳ Minimum 2 weeks.

Shades, Sunscreen and Point Break lived together all their lives and were abandoned when their owner moved away. They’re mellow, well-behaved dogs who love humans and other pets.

Shades: 10 years, 79 lbs, F.
Sunscreen: 10 years, 68 lbs, M.
Point Break: 12 years, 73 lbs, M.

When their owner moved and left them behind, these three senior pitbulls ended up in the shelter. Their sweet nature and dog-friendly attitude made them staff favorites, but even so, they ended up on the euth list due to their age, size and breed.

‼️We’ve tagged all three and need YOUR help to find them homes! They’ll arrive in NYC this Saturday, 6/13, and can be fostered or adopted together or separately.

⛵️Sailboat also needs a foster this Saturday! She’s a 7-year-old Golden Retriever mix from Alabama. Found stray and sick with heartworms, she spend the past 3 months in a foster home receiving lifesaving treatment.

Sailboat is a mild-mannered dog looking for a quiet life. She does well with children, cats and dogs, but prefers napping to playing. Shes house trained, crate trained, and good on leash.

Sailboat is 7 years old and 60 lbs. She’ll need a foster to welcome her this Saturday, 6/13, in NYC or anywhere within driving distance. Please email or DM us to foster‼️

Exuma’s previous owners cut off her ear flaps themselves, then left her with dogs that attacked her. She arrived in rescue with severely infected ears and puncture wounds all over her body. The scars make her look tough, but she’s a big softie inside.

After TECA surgery, Exuma is doing well. She’s a calm, loving dog who asks for very little… just a safe place to rest. She’ll find her spot, drop her head down, and fall asleep with her butt in the air. She’s sweet and submissive around other dogs, loves little kids and does well with cats too.

🆘 Now Exuma urgently needs a new foster or adopter. Her foster dog sibling (an ROSR alumni) is not thrilled to host her. Exuma is showing deference and keeping to herself, but it’s not a comfortable situation for either dog.

⏳ Commitment period: Ideally 2 weeks minimum
📍 Pickup from: Williamsburg, Brooklyn at 2pm

Whitsundays bio 🐶: 2 years, 40 lbs, Female. Fully vetted. Great with kids and dogs. No cats (she likes to chase). Medium energy, outgoing and sweet!
