IAHW had the honor of being represented at a UNGA side meeting: “Safeguarding Progress for Adolescent Girls in a Shifting Global Landscape.” 🌍✨

As part of our youth ambassador program, we joined global leaders from UNICEF, UNFPA, the Gates Foundation, Arch Collaborative, IAAH, Stanford, Columbia, and more to advocate for the health and rights of adolescent girls worldwide.

The Women Pediatricians Forum with International Fraternity of Medical Students (IFMS) conducted an educative webinar on Basic Life Support on 13 October to celebrate International Adolescent Health Week 2024.

Dr Piyali Bhattacharya, Consultant Pediatrician & Past Vice President IAP was the key note speaker. Dr Preeti Galagali, IAHW Coordinator and Dr Sanath Savithri Nandeesh, Vice President were the moderators. 65 medical students and health care professionals from the globe attended this interactive webinar. Yashwant Sirisati, Youth Ambassador from India actively participated in the deliberations.
