It is a rare lifelong adrenal condition that can be life-threatening and requires steroid replacement for life. It is uncurable. By attending and donating, you will help us promote awareness and provide better knowledge and understanding and community and with the hope to help save lives for those dealing with Addison’s disease. Addison’s Disease is a lifelong illness presenting with Primary Adrenal Insufficiency in which is steroid dependent for life. Which can be life threatening.. Join myself, in which I have represented solely and been an Ambassador for Team Addison USA since January 2020 to promote Awareness for all those affected by this rare illness. I am so proud and honored to be joining with Note by Note Song Share The gifted Musician collaborators who have graced Long Island, NY with their fellow local musicians to voluntarily provide Music for various charities and organizations..This is my first public engagement to bring Awareness for Addison’s Disease for Team Addison USA.. I am thrilled that Marilyn Pardo & Jenn Albert & Karen Kellers my dear friends and all the Absolutely Amazingly Talented Musicians are a part of my FUNDRAISER/CONCERT for Team Addison USA and Team Addison Global which is a worldwide network & community for those effected by Addison’s Disease to promote Awareness.. Which is so needed within the USA & World.. In 1980 one and 4 people
in a million develop Addison’s Disease .. Today 100 - 140 people in a million develop Addison’s Disease.. Very few physicians see an Addisonian patient in their lifetime.. People with Addison’s Disease are often not diagnosed or treated or emergently treated in time and loose there lives..This is why awareness is so vital to the

When I established this page, my primary focus was on promoting awareness for Addison's disease. Soon after, I discovered Team Addison, founded by Martin Norrman, whose dedication to worldwide awareness resonated with me. He offered me the opportunity to oversee Team Addison USA, which I eagerly accepted. Throughout my journey, I have sought to become a voice for individuals with Addison's disease, striving to educate others on preventing adrenal crises and fatalities. I have always thought about writing a book or song regarding living with Addison’s Disease. I found my start and the beginning of my answer on Facebook. Unfortunately, still to this day and time, numerous lives are lost due to the lack of experience and knowledge unnecessarily. People are often not diagnosed in time, as many symptoms collide with those of other illnesses. Many physicians I have encountered have never even treated an individual with Addison's disease. Hospitals and emergency rooms often lack the necessary skills and protocols to manage individuals with Addison's disease properly. I have personally experienced the frightening reality of being ignored in an emergency room. The physician eventually arrived, citing busyness and short-staffing. It was not until he finally attended to me that I received proper treatment. This incident, along with many others, has fueled my determination to raise awareness for Addison's disease. I have utilized this platform and Team Addison USA to promote awareness and education for those affected by Addison's disease. My goal is to ensure that individuals with Addison's disease receive proper treatment and understanding in all aspects of life. Thank you for following my journey over the past six years.
