Update: Mara has found a foster family!
Now that Rosie has flown to Canada, her previous foster family has taken in Mara!
Mara was found motionless with her face torn apart—her jaw shattered, bone exposed, and infection spreading. She couldn’t eat, drink, or cry out.
After many months with us recovering from jaw surgery, Mara is doing well! Because her jaw had to be shortened, her tongue still hangs out of her mouth. This is permanent, but not life-threatening. Despite that, Mara keeps adapting beautifully.
Because of your support, she made it through unimaginable trauma, major surgery, and recovery! 🩵
Now, we are looking for a home in Canada, where she can grow old with a loving family ✈️🇨🇦
Please apply to adopt Mara at GWARP.org.
GWARP is struggling under the weight of so many animals in need. If you are in Azerbaijan, please reach out to foster. These animals need you more than ever.
