Asian Americans are among the fastest-growing racial or ethnic groups in the United States; however, evidence points to a growing fear that the rampant hate we face continues to be ignored.

The Pew Research Center reports that 57% of the over 7,000 Asian American adults that they surveyed on the topic said discrimination is a problem, and 63% said the issue garners “too little attention.”

Despite the contributions Asian Americans have made, we remain invisible—our calls for respect, safety and accountability brushed under the model minority myth. University of California, Riverside Professor Karthick Ramakrishnan told Axios that Asian immigrants remain perpetual foreigners: unassimilable outsiders. 78% of Pew respondents reported being treated as foreigners, even if they were American-born.

A healing circle for Asians in grief to share what’s on their heart and mind, to listen, and be listened to deeply and generously. Each circle is a blend of sharing and silence. We honor our own unique paths to healing and respect the choices of others in full acceptance and non-judgement.

Join our facilitators, Tida Beattie and Soyeon Davis the founders of MESO as they hold space and create a safe container for you to navigate through your healing journey.
