Community Cleanup Initiative by Hindo Foundation and Central Base Youth Organization

We are thrilled to announce our collaboration with the Central Base Youth Organization to clean up the garbage around the Lakka Community Field. Due to the lack of a proper garbage center, many have been using the corners of the field as a dumping ground.

This initiative is a step towards a cleaner, healthier community, and we need your support! We call on other organizations to partner with us to solve this pressing issue and make Lakka a better place for everyone.

Starting 7th October 2023, we will commence a baseline survey focused on autism and children with special needs within our community. This survey is a vital step towards understanding the unique challenges and needs of these children and their families. By gathering comprehensive data, we aim to develop targeted programs and services that provide essential support and resources.

The objectives of this baseline survey are as follows:

1. To identify the prevalence of autism and special needs among children in our community.
2. To assess the current level of awareness and understanding of autism and special needs.
3. To determine the availability and accessibility of existing support services and resources.
4. To gather insights into the specific needs and challenges faced by children with special needs and their families.
