Tough weekend but finished on a very HIGH note.
thanks to the young ladies for putting us with our coaching craziness at times and overcoming all the obstacles we went through during this tourney. you have made great strides to compete as a team until the end

Thanks to the ASVBA and you, the parents who made this possible and THANKS to lennon, Kukral and Leanna Prida Taylor for a wonderful job taking care of our team when we were playing and not; your job does not go unnoticed by the coaching staff. It made our job a whole lot easier.

Day1 was a tough day as we went 0-3 but these young ladies fought hard until the end.

Webfoot Gold 15-1 (CE) 17-25, 25-18, 15-10
AVC Clev Rox 15N Royer (OV) 25-19, 25-9
OP2 15-2 National (OK) 25-13, 24-26, 15-12

Its not always about winning, i do know its a great feeling; but its how you bounce back and deal with adversities.

Tomorrow is another day and things will look much better. I can feel it

ASVBA is excited to announce that the 15 Red team has qualified for Junior National's taking place in Indianapolis, Indiana.

We will also send our 17 Red team to Orlando, FL to compete in the 43rd AAU Junior National Championships as well.

What an amazing weekend ASVBA had at NEQ this weekend. 12 13, 14, 18 Red and 15 Blue all showed pride, courage and their true colors as athletes. Winning every game is an accomplishment that any athlete would be proud of, but coming back from a tough first day of playing and turning over a new leaf on day two not only speaks to a teams answer to failure, but shows how dedicated to the game and each other they are. Every team showed their passion, pride, respect for the game and sportsmanship this weekend! WHAT A SHOW THEY PUT ON FOR THEIR COACHES AND PARENTS! BRAVO!!!
