This past weekend was incredibly special for us at Positive Workforce!
In partnership with Sleep in Heavenly Peace, more than 200 volunteers and trainees came together to build 50 bunk beds for children in need, giving them a safe place to sleep and hope for a brighter tomorrow.
We are deeply grateful to the Lowe's Foundation Gable Grants for making this beautiful day of community possible and for supporting our trainees as they gained valuable hands-on skills that prepare them for real careers in the skilled trades. Building beds. Building futures.

Positive Workforce partnered with Lowe’s and over 5,000 other volunteers for a 24-hour bunk bed build! A record breaking 5,000 bunk beds were built for children in need across the nation. Congrats to our volunteers for being a part of this incredible project and thank you Lowe’s for having us!

Today we give flowers to Rosie Cuevas for Women In Construction Week! 💐

Rosie had no prior experience or knowledge of construction when she joined Positive Workforce more than 12 years ago. She was a hardworking mother, but oftentimes struggled to provide. Through the support and encouragement of Positive, she obtained her first job with a major developer in NYC, Levine Builders, and it changed her families’ life for the better!

Now, Rosie is a seasoned Laborer and Hoist Operator. Her enthusiastic and contagious personality brings joy to any site she is on.

Thank you for being a bright example to all the women in our industry, and to those who consider entering the workforce💪
