Neville, Neville Dance Theatre brings theatrical stylings and contemporary innovations to classical ballet. Our wide ranging repertory unites diverse dance styles together, from classical ballet to Argentine Tango, in works that celebrate the human spirit, our shared world and the limitlessness of dance.

NEVILLE Dance Theatre is very excited to have 𝐈𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐁𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐍 for our upcoming performances!

𝐆𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐈𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠:

Irving Brann is a Brooklyn based young professional dancer. He has been dancing since the age of two, training at Covenant Ballet Theatre of Brooklyn and performing principal roles in their main stage productions for many years, as well as guesting at various dance institutions including Steps on Broadway and Waldwick School of Ballet. For the past two years, Irving attended Carolina Ballet’s summer intensive on full scholarship. In addition to dancing, he is a musician, composer, and music producer, composing music for performances, as well as his own, unreleased discography.

𝐆𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐬: Charles Scheland

Charles Scheland is a contemporary dance artist based in New York City, currently a principal dancer with Carolyn Dorfman Dance and Thomas/Ortiz Dance. He has also danced for Site-Specific Dances, RIOULT Dance NY, Michael Mao Dance, and been a guest artist with Alison Cook-Beatty Dance, Buglisi Dance Theater, New England Dance Theater, and Princeton Dance Theater. He graduated summa cm laude from the Ailey/Fordham BFA in Dance program with a double major in Dance and Economics with departmental honors in both majors. Charles is an expert of the Lester Horton technique and a certified Ailey Horton Technique instructor. He is on faculty at The Ailey School and has previously taught at the School at Jacob’s Pillow, Steps on Broadway, Kanyok Arts Initiative, the Juilliard School, and Dance Theatre of Harlem. Charles is thrilled to return to Neville Dance Theatre, as a guest artist once again!

𝐆𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐫: Connor Barak

Connor Barak is from Kent, Ohio, where he trained at Ballet Theatre of Ohio and Meneer School of Dance under the direction of Christine Meneer. He studied at Butler University and graduated in May 2024 with a B.S. in Dance Arts Administration and Spanish. Connor performed lead roles with Butler Ballet including Prince Siegfried in Swan Lake and the Nutcracker Prince in The Nutcracker. He also performed in contemporary pieces including Ourfire by Jennifer Archibald and Bronze by Maria Konrad. After graduating, he joined Dayton Ballet under the direction of Brandon Ragland. Currently, Connor is a NYC-based freelance dancer and is excited to be working with Neville Dance Theatre!

𝐆𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐀𝐧𝐚: Ana Brooks

Ana Brooks is originally from Utah and began her dance training with Ballet West Academy. She went on to obtain a BFA in Dance from Brigham Young University, performing Balanchine’s Serenade and Walpurgisnacht, Paul Taylor’s Airs, and Jose Limon’s Choreographic Offering to name a few of her favorites. Her professional career has taken her to stages across the US with Ballet Fantastique, Instaballet, Ballethnic, and Ballets with a Twist. She is currently based in Brooklyn and enjoys taking on freelance dancing projects and choreographing her own original works. In addition to dancing, Ana is also a circus artist and specializes in enpointe bottle walking and cyr wheel. Her circus work (including aerial) has been seen in Ballet Fantastique’s Robin Hood, Savage Wonder’s Black Curtain Society, and in many other venues and stages across NY. We are excited to have Ana for her first season with Neville Dance Theatre!

𝐆𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐊𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐲: Kelly

Kelly Cardosi trained at the ABT Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School and Manhattan Youth Ballet, working closely with instructors Cynthia Harvey, Stella Abrera, Deborah Wingert, Daniel Ulbricht, and Earl Mosley. Following her participation in the John Cranko Schule’s New York summer intensive, she was part of a select group invited to participate in the John Cranko Schule’s November workshop in Stuttgart, Germany. Her performance experience includes “Places Please” for Complexions Contemporary Ballet’s 30th anniversary gala as a participant in their “Pre-Pro” program and featured roles in Nutcracker Dream with Ballet Des Amériques. This is Kelly’s first season with Neville Dance Theatre!
