Thankful. (Flashback to 2019 )
Every weekend we would select some of our mother's favorite warm gourmet menu items + some newly purchased essential care items via , and meticulously package them . These were to be "gifted" as we would like to receive "a gift" - with . 💛
Every weekend we'd intentionally walk the streets of NYC and gift these packages to those living fearlessly on the streets...different "hoods". ☀️
The care packages, the material items in each package, the meticulous placement of stickers on the bags, the double (and triple) checking to make sure everyone had the same items...all of that - as necessary it ALL should be - nothing was more important than the actual conversations, interactions, relationships created. ☀️💛
We are so for each and every shelter deprived human being who allowed us into their world, their struggle, and allowed us to hug, talk, cry, laugh, and provide ☀️
P.S.-We're also thankful for those that cussed at us or even refused to speak with us. ☀️😎
