AMERICAN CITIZEN SERVICES IN THE CITY OF CUENCA – March 12 and 13, 2025
The U.S. Consulate General in Guayaquil is pleased to announce that representatives from the Consulate will provide notarial, passport, and CRBA services in the City of Cuenca on March 12 and 13, 2025.

When: Wednesday, March 12, 2025, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM – Appointment required.
Thursday, March 13, 2025, 08:00 AM to 4:00 PM – Appointment required.
Forms:
Please bring applications filled out correctly, along with originals and photocopies of citizenship documents (passport, birth certificate and age progression photos for children under the age of 16 and IDs of parents). For DS-11 forms, you must pay in advance using the following link:

Notarial Services - Payment for notarial services can only be accepted in the form of a cashier’s check (in Spanish “CHEQUE DE GERENCIA” or “CHEQUE DE EMERGENCIA”) from any Ecuadorian bank. The cashier’s check should be written out to U.S. Disbursing Officer and may be obtained from any Ecuadorian bank if one has an account at that bank. If your bank requires the Embassy’s RUC, it is 1791845986001. Each notarial service has a fee of $50.00 per consul’s signature. Please keep in mind that some documents may require more than one signature.

Notaria - El pago de servicios de notaría deberá hacerse UNICAMENTE mediante un CHEQUE DE GERENCIA o CHEQUE DE EMERGENCIA de cualquier banco del Ecuador. El cheque de gerencia debe ser girado a nombre de U.S. Disbursing Officer y se puede obtener en cualquier banco ecuatoriano en el que usted tenga una cuenta vigente. Si el banco necesitara el número de RUC, éste es el siguiente: 1791845986001. Cada servicio notarial tiene un costo de $50.00 por cada firma del cónsul. Por favor, tenga en cuenta que algunos documentos pueden requerir más de una firma del cónsul.
