A year ago today, the Arab American Community lost one of its greatest leaders, Dr. Ahmad Jaber. It is a testament to his life and work that even in his absence the work he did, the organizations he founded, and the leadership he provided to our community instead allowed us to continue to thrive and grow. Dr. Jaber was an inspiration, and even as we mourn his loss today the leadership and staff of the Arab American Association of New York are celebrating his life and accomplishments.
