When Miles & Gwanda's owner was facing a mental health crisis, she made the brave decision to seek treatment and turned to our PAWsitive Recovery program to ensure her beloved cats would be safe and cared for while she focused on healing.

Today, we are overjoyed to share that she has successfully completed her recovery program, and they have been reunited. 🐾

Stories like this remind us how vital it is to support both people and their pets during life's most difficult moments. When we remove barriers to care, we help make healing and reunions like this possible.

Hear PAWsitive Recovery cats Bebo and Elvira's owner share how he was hesitant to enter treatment because he had nowhere and no one to care for his beloved cats.

That's when our PAWsitive Recovery program stepped in.

With support from our compassionate foster network, Bebo and Elvira were kept safe and cared for while their owner focused on healing, giving him the peace of mind to seek the treatment he needed.

No one should have to choose between recovery and the animals they love. 🐾

PAWsitive Recovery pup Scotty has officially been reunited with his loving owner after they took the brave step to seek treatment.

Reunions like this are what it's all about. Healing, hope, and second chances for both people and their pets. We're so grateful to be part of Scotty's journey home.

"I've had Kitty since 2012. She has been my constant, my child, my confidant, and my everything."

When Kitty's owner shared these words, he was facing one of the hardest moments of his life, experiencing homelessness, struggling with addiction, and trying to find a path to recovery. Through it all, one thing was certain: he couldn't imagine life without Kitty.

Through our PAWsitive Recovery program, Kitty was cared for with the love, stability, and support she needed while her owner focused on healing.

Today, we are so grateful to share that Kitty's owner has received lifesaving treatment and has been reunited with Kitty. 🐾

Their bond never broke. And now, they have a second chance to move forward together.

Stories like this are a powerful reminder that when we support both people and their pets, we help keep families together through even the most difficult times.

Nala is a sweet 3.5-year-old pitty mix who is urgently looking for a foster home near Denver, Colorado. Nala's owner recently lost their job and home, and during this incredibly difficult time, our PAWsitive Recovery program is stepping in to help keep them together.

Nala loves cuddling, sunbathing, walks, and playtime. She is great with kids, but would do best in a home without cats and with slow introductions to other dogs.

By fostering Nala, you can make a life-changing difference for both her and her owner while they work toward stability and healing. Temporary foster care saves lives and helps families stay together when they need support most.
