Todd is an adorable 2-year-old pittie who’s looking for a loving foster pawrent through SPCA International’s PAWsitive Pets program.

Todd has such a gentle heart and spirit. He’s laid-back, incredibly loyal, and happiest right by your side! His favorite things include spending time with his person and heading out for trail runs.

It's feel-good Friday! And that means it's time to share another heartwarming PAWsitive Recovery reunion! ❤️

As Tito and Jameson's pawrent embarked on their recovery journey, one gut-wrenching question surfaced… who would take care of their pets while they focused on healing?

At SPCA International, our PAWsitive Recovery program exists to REMOVE that barrier — because no one should have to choose between the animals they love or getting the care they need!

We're so honored to provide compassionate, temporary care for the companion animals of individuals seeking recovery from trauma, addiction, or other challenging circumstances. And, when the time is right, we're thrilled to reunite families — just like this one!

TOMORROW at 1:30pm, our PAWsitive Recovery team will be hosting an adorable doggie fashion show at the 2026 Rally for Recovery — and we want your dog to participate! Please dress your pup in purple and have them strut their stuff to help us celebrate our incredible recovery community!

Confident dogs that enjoy crowds are encouraged to participate! 💜

We’ve been working hard to get our booth ready for the 2026 Rally for Recovery — and we might’ve had a little help from our four-legged friends!

THIS Saturday, join us at Colorado’s LARGEST annual recovery event, bringing our community together each year to connect, celebrate, and share hope and healing.

Our PAWsitive Recovery team will be there to bring tons of puppy-powered fun, including:

🐕 Puppy playpen with adorable pups to snuggle

This is why PAWsitive Recovery is SO important! ❤️❤️❤️

In honor of Recovery Month, we wanted to share another heartwarming reunion!

While Mac’s pawrent focused on getting the treatment and support he needed, we were able to match Mac with a safe, loving foster home, so they could be reunited when the time was right. 🐾

For many people entering recovery, one heartbreaking question can become a major barrier to getting help: “Who will take care of my animal while I’m away?”

No one should have to choose between seeking treatment and keeping their beloved animal companion safe.

Through SPCA International’s PAWsitive Recovery program, temporary foster families step in to provide animals with the love, stability, and care they need while their guardians focus on healing, with the ultimate goal of bringing families back together.

Because recovery shouldn’t mean losing your best friend.

Meet some of the beautiful faces we’re helping protect! 🦊❤️

Through SPCA International’s Shelter Support Program, we’re proud to award a grant to Salty Fox Sanctuary in Florida to help construct a dedicated hurricane shelter for the rescued foxes in their care.

Many of these foxes were rescued from the fur trade, a cruel industry that breeds, confines, and kills animals for fashion. 💔 Because these foxes were bred in captivity and cannot safely survive in the wild, Salty Fox Sanctuary provides them with a permanent home and specialized care.

Located in Northeast Florida, the sanctuary faces the very real threat of hurricanes, flooding, and prolonged power outages. This grant will help create a climate-controlled emergency space where the foxes can remain protected during severe weather, while also supporting veterinary care and emergency preparedness.

We’re proud to support Salty Fox Sanctuary in giving these survivors the compassion and kindness they've always deserved!

SPCA International’s PAWsitive Recovery Program exists to help make sure that concern does not become a barrier.

We’re proud to support individuals on their recovery journey by placing their beloved pets in safe, caring temporary foster homes while they focus on healing — with the goal of reuniting them when the time is right!

This National Recovery Month, we’re honoring every person taking steps toward healing and the animal companions who provide comfort, connection, and unconditional love along the way.

Four-year-old Obsidian needs a loving temporary foster home in Colorado!

Obsidian is a sweet, long-haired boy who loves playing with toys he can jump up and catch, spending time with his humans, and even heading out on outdoor adventures in his harness!

Through SPCA International’s PAWsitive Recovery program, you can help support animals and the people who love them most by temporarily opening your heart and home to a cat or dog while their family focuses on recovery, treatment, or healing through challenging circumstances.
