9/11 Advocates played an important role after 9/11, and we are pleased to announce that Monica Elvira, Executive Producer and Personal 9/11 Community Advocate; John Feal, Founder of the FealGood Foundation and author; and Lila Nordstrom, author, activist, and Founder of StuyHealth, will join us on September 10th.

Each brings a distinct perspective on turning personal experience into advocacy and the years of determined work to create meaningful change in the wake of 9/11.

VOICES 25th Anniversary NYC Symposium is less than seven weeks away, and we're pleased to share an update on some of our confirmed speakers.

📅On September 8, the program highlights professionals in law enforcement, counterterrorism, and emergency management. Co-Deputy Director of the FBI, Chris Raia, will deliver a keynote address, followed by presentations from distinguished professionals, many of whom responded in the aftermath of 9/11 and continue to play a vital role in keeping our communities safe.

📅On September 9 and 10, our 9/11 Community Partners will provide updates on the issues that continue to impact victims' families, responders, survivors, and those who serve them. The Symposium also provides an opportunity for the 9/11 Community to gather in advance of the 25th Anniversary.

The Symposium will be held in person and via livestream. The program is free, but registration is required. More details will be shared soon.

The U.S. has now reported the most measles cases in any year since 1991, reaching the highest level in 35 years.
