No single organization can solve global mental health alone.

Million Minds Project brings together voices across science, culture, policy, and lived experience because real change requires collective action.

When we collaborate, we build systems that reflect the full humanity of those they serve.

Together is the only way forward. Share this post with a friend and invite them to support our mission for mental health equity.

Honoring Demi Moore: A Champion for Youth Voices & Storytelling 🎭✨

From the CityKids stage to the world’s biggest awards, Demi Moore has always used her voice to uplift, inspire, and create change. As our former National Spokesperson, she stood alongside young leaders at the 1996 CityKids All-Star Celebration, advocating for youth empowerment and the power of storytelling.

Today, we celebrate Demi’s incredible achievements—her Golden Globe, SAG Award, and Oscar nominations & wins! 🏆👏 But beyond the accolades, she continues to use her platform to amplify important stories, support young creatives, and champion causes that make a difference.

Demi has long believed in the power of youth voices and the importance of multicultural bridge-building. In a 1993 interview on The Arsenio Hall Show, she spoke about CityKids as “a state of mind”—one that empowers young people to recognize that their voices matter on all issues. She emphasized that it’s not just about supporting the next generation but also about adults understanding the urgency of unity: “Because I believe if we don’t unify, we’re gonna die.”

Demi, your commitment to advocacy and the arts has left a lasting impact, and we are forever grateful to have you as part of the CityKids legacy. Congratulations on your well-deserved success—keep shining and inspiring the next generation! 🌟🎬

🌏✨ CityKids in Japan! Honoring Keith Haring’s Legacy Through Art & Activism 🎨

The CityKids Foundation is honored to be featured in a Japanese publication highlighting our ongoing work in artivism, youth empowerment, and global collaborations.

The article explores Keith Haring’s 1986 collaboration with CityKids on CityKids Speak on Liberty—a monumental piece created with 1,000 young people to celebrate freedom. It also discusses our latest initiatives, including:

🗽 Relight the Torch, reimagining Keith’s message of youth-led change
🎨 Workshops in Japan, engaging young artists in storytelling and activism
🌍 CityKids Experience Japan, connecting youth across cultures through art

“When The CityKids Foundation first met Keith Haring in 1986, it was immediately clear that he had a deep commitment to addressing global issues. One such example was his involvement in the Free South Africa project. Keith strongly believed in the power of art to transcend divisions and unite people—a belief that fueled his activism.” – , CityKids Founder & President

From New York to Hiroshima, we’re using art to ignite conversations, inspire change, and elevate youth voices worldwide.
