The mission of the Fort Tryon Park Trust - a nonprofit park conservancy - is to restore, preserve, and enhance Fort Tryon Park, a 67-acre Scenic Landmark public park in northern Manhattan for the enjoyment of all New Yorkers. The Fort Tryon Park Trust is the park conservancy that partners with NYC Parks in the maintenance, horticultural upkeep, and programmatic enrichment of Fort Tryon Park, a Scenic Landmark public park in northern Manhattan. We raise private funds to supplement NYC's budget for this 86-year-old treasure to provide:

-Targeted upgrades - elm tree inoculation, repair aging retaining walls, playground renovations
-Maintenance equipment, tools, and machines
-Park staff to help with the upkeep of 67 acres and a robust stewardship program
-300+ free, dynamic, public programs annually to engage and inspire
-Membership Program to connect park lovers in supporting this unique park’s vitality

NYC's fiscal picture fluctuates and private funds from our supporters are more critical than ever.
