Parenting doesn’t come with a manual, but it can come with community, support, and tools that actually work.

Join us for a powerful and practical evening with Chazz Lewis (“Mr. Chazz”), where we’ll explore how to guide children with intention, connection, and clarity.

From navigating conflict to setting meaningful boundaries, this conversation is designed to meet parents where they are - real, honest, and rooted in care.

A 5 Week Artistic Journey with Hirut Yosef✨

There’s still space to jump in for the final 5 weeks of this vibrant artistic exploration with Hirut Yosef - illustrator, fashion designer, and graphic artist.

Each session invites young artists to explore identity, culture, and creative voice through hands-on, process-driven work.

Born in Gondar, Ethiopia, Hirut’s artistic journey spans continents and cultures. After immigrating to Israel in 1984 and earning her BA in Fashion Design, she later lived in Istanbul where she created her vibrant illustration series Mulu and The Beta Clan. Inspired by her African roots, Ethiopian heritage, and a love of street art, hip-hop, and soul culture, her work is a bold blend of tradition and modern expression.

Hirut currently teaches art at KIPP WHMS and brings deep care, creativity, and joy into every class.

If your child loves to imagine, experiment, and create, we’d love to welcome them for the remaining 5 weeks.

Thank you to the 450 community members who joined us this past weekend to honor the enduring legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through opportunities to serve, reflect, and come together. From an interfaith Shabbat celebration with our friends at Union Baptist Church and Union Theological Seminary to volunteer service with NYCHA Grant Houses, PS 242, Saint Nicholas Park, the New Jewish Home, and Repair the World, the weekend was filled with meaningful action—bringing Dr. King’s vision of a beloved community rooted in justice, compassion, and collective action to life. Special thanks to our partners at UJA-Federation of New York for supporting this effort!
