Yesterday, our team gathered together for our Annual Staff Election Day! Our theme was re-energize, re-align, and re-imagine. Our team engaged in fun team-building activities, connected with our affinity group chairs, and honored our tenured staff. We were left with the closing words from PWC's CEO, Wesner Pierre, "We hear you, we're here with you, and we see you. You matter!"

This Summer, our Teaching Artists participated in an educational and impactful training on Arts and Healing! Throughout this training, we explored trauma-informed practices, provided an overview of trauma, and discussed how it impacts our school communities.

In honor of National Dance Day, we are proud to highlight one of our inspiring Dance Teaching Artists, Maria Daniel! On top of being an amazing dance teacher, Maria is a choreographer, educator, author, mentor, and attorney. In her classes, Maria provides a positive and safe environment for students throughout NYC to express themselves, learn, perform, and grow!
