Help us finish a new mural! Thanks to a generous donation from our friends at as part of their annual volunteer day, a new mural is being installed on Hudson Boulevard West between W 36 and W 37. Tomorrow 6/11 join us from 8 am to 2 pm to bring the mural to the finish line!

Thank you to the team for volunteering their time at Bella Abzug Park this morning! Our weekly horticulture volunteers were joined by FGS Global team members in the park for a horticulture volunteer day where they learned the ins and outs of urban gardening- planting, pruning, weeding, and more.

Corporate volunteer efforts are an important part of our horticultural work in the park and in the district. If your team is interested in giving back to the Hell’s Kitchen and Hudson Yards community, get in touch with us to learn more! Volunteer dates are open for Fall 2026.

HYHK is thrilled to kick off another season of fun and free programming in Bella Abzug Park this week!

🧘🏽 This month the weather is warming up and we are excited to bring back outdoor yoga with on Mondays and Wednesdays, with new mat pilates classes on Saturday mornings.

📚 The Bookmobile is back and better than ever with two stops in the park each month, catch the Bookmobile the first and third Tuesday of each month for free books for all ages.

🎶 Bring your little ones to the park and sing along to acoustic kid’s concerts with every Tuesday from 10:30-11:15 am.

🪩 Crowd favorite returns the first Thursday of the month, pop by the park to dance to the hits that shaped NYC.

HYHK is proud to announce a new partnership between Bella Abzug Park woman-owned concessionaire Paradis in the Park and immigrant-owned New York City Halal Food Truck (NYCHFT), a beloved long-standing street vendor in Hudson Yards.

During the summer of 2025, when construction of the newest Hudson Yards office tower commenced, NYCHFT could no longer operate on the corner they had occupied for 8 years. When Wael Hamza, the food truck owner, asked HYHK for help, we introduced him to Kim Paradis, the owner/operator of Bella Abzug Park concessionaire Paradis in the Park. After one taste of Wael’s falafel, Kim was sold.

HYHK worked with the Department of Parks and Recreation to create a legal framework that allowed Paradis and Wael to officially partner, allowing his business to continue operating . Today we were thrilled to celebrate the culmination of this partnership with a ribbon cutting in the park. Join us in celebrating this exciting new partnership by stopping by the truck for some of the city’s best falafel!
