As extreme heat claims lives, drought threatens our food supply, and wildfires devastate communities, people of faith are called to respond. These are not isolated weather events—they are the consequences of a moral crisis. We know that the continued burning of oil, gas, and coal is fueling the climate emergency, and that Black, Brown, Indigenous, immigrant and low-wealth communities are too often the first and hardest hit.

The NJ Make Polluters Pay bill is on the move with two more important committee meetings this week in Trenton. GreenFaith NJ will be testifying and submitting a faith leader letter of support, signed by 235+ faith leaders from all across NJ.
