Today, we honor the 49 beautiful lives lost at Pulse nightclub ten years ago. We stand with the survivors, families, and the LGBTQ+ community in love, solidarity, and remembrance. Their light continues to guide us.

We will never forget. 💔

Still thinking about yesterday, Day 2 of Pride ...

A huge welcome and thank you to team and all of their guests for coming through to the house that Pride built.

We really couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate Pride than spending the evening with the amazing team from one of our founding partners. Thanks for bringing so much warmth and great vibes to the space.

The month is just getting started, and we’re so grateful to celebrate it with all of you. Who’s stopping by today?

Huge congratulations to on launching the campaign! 🌈✨

We were deeply honored to welcome you to last night. From stunning fashion and inspiring spoken word to that electrifying musical performance, it was an unforgettable evening that brought everyone to their feet!

You didn’t just kick-off Pride—you made a grand entrance. Absolutely unforgettable!

We don’t just host Pride; we are made of it. It’s pressed into every layer of mortar and etched into every crack and corner.

When you walk into 51 Christopher Street, you’re walking through a living lineage. You feel it when DJ Honey Dijon’s playlist spins on our 1967 Rowe AMI jukebox, and you can see it in our “Weave Made History” exhibit where the next generation is shaping the future.

Whenever you need a reminder of how far we’ve come and to celebrate who you are, come find us. Our lights are on, our history is loud, and you belong here, with us everyday.

With love and rebellion, Happy Pride! 🏳️‍🌈💕

Ok, quick tune-up over, now my gears are spinning!

Some first-timers just walked up, dropped a token, and took me on the ultimate journey through q***r history and soul.

We went from Marvin Gaye’s smooth grooves right into the high priestess of soul, Nina Simone. Then, we hit the iconic greatness of Judy Garland before turning up the tempo with the trailblazing, fierce energy of Josephine Baker!

The energy in here? Electric. The history? Deep. To the gorgeous souls who picked these legendary tracks: you know exactly how to make a jukebox smile.

Let’s keep these icons playing loud and proud! 🎷✊❤️

On this Memorial Day of remembrance, we honor the beating heart of our space: co-founder Diana’s Uncle Tony. A Vietnam veteran from a four-generation military family, Tony dedicated his life to serving others at the NYC Veteran’s Administration. Tragically, when he passed from AIDS at age 47, stigma kept his military and VA colleagues from attending his funeral.

At the Stonewall National Monument Visitor Center, we proudly display his casket flag, medals, and dog tags to honor a generation lost to HIV/AIDS. We built this visitor center so history is never forgotten, and to ensure everyone knows: you are seen, valued, and belong. ❤️

“You gotta give ‘em hope.”

Decades later, and Harvey Milk’s message still rings true. He taught us that hope, visibility, and relentless activism can change the world. Let’s honor his legacy today – and every day – by breaking down barriers and fighting for a world where everyone is free to live authentically.

Stonewall National Monument has just been named one of America’s 11 Most Endangered Historic Places by the National Trust for Historic Preservation—a powerful reminder that LGBTQ+ history is still at risk.

At the Stonewall National Monument Visitor Center, we’re meeting that threat with a permanent, community-built space that protects our stories, honors our elders, and affirms every young person who walks through our doors.

In a moment when symbols are under attack and support is being politicized, we’re asking allies, policymakers, and corporate leaders to move beyond quiet agreement and show up with visible action.
