The wait is over! Brasserie Boulud is now open at 1900 Broadway at One Lincoln Plaza, bringing acclaimed chef and restaurateur Daniel Boulud back to the Upper West Side. The new French brasserie takes over the longtime home of Boulud Sud, Bar Boulud, and Épicerie Boulud, offering classic French favorites, seasonal specialties, and the return of Boulud’s popular DB Burger.

The newly redesigned space also features Épicerie Boulud and Bar Viv, as well as outdoor café seating and private dining rooms.

Reservations are now available through Resy, though tables are already in high demand. Welcome back to Lincoln Square, Brasserie Boulud!

Something spooky has popped up in Lincoln Square! 👻

Spirit Halloween is now open as a seasonal pop-up at 1889 Broadway, between West 62nd and 63rd Streets, at the base of the Empire Hotel. Halloween is just around the corner, so stop in to find costumes, décor, accessories, and plenty of creepy creations to get into the spirit! 🎃

Have you noticed the new umbrellas at Dante Park?

Last week, we added new umbrellas to the park, featuring our new Lincoln Square logo. They provide a welcome spot of shade for neighbors and visitors enjoying Dante Park, while adding a fresh touch to the space.

If you haven’t had a chance yet, take a seat underneath one, enjoy some shade, and spend a little time in Dante Park before we put them away for the season!

It’s the grand finale! Join us today for one last afternoon of Summer Jazz Sensations, featuring Lou Watson.
 
Today, Wednesday, September 16, we’ll wrap up the season with vocalist and pianist/composer Lou Watson. The weather is looking beautiful, so come enjoy live jazz outdoors at Dante Park (Broadway & 64th Street) from noon to 1:30pm.
 
Watson projects a deep, resonant baritone, singing originals alongside timeless classics. He was educated at Livingston College of Rutgers University, where he was exposed to jazz greats Kenny Barron, Larry Ridley, and Ted Dunbar. He would leave to tour with the classic R&B group The Manhattans, as well as The Drifters Review, and enjoyed life on the road as he toured the concert circuit.
 
With his jazz trio, Watson performs in nightclubs in the New York City area, serving up stylish renditions of traditional jazz standards. He has also performed on countless concert tours and road productions. Most recently, he completed a tour of Thailand. His R&B heritage blends jazz, funk, pop, and gospel.
 
Enjoy free samples from Rosa Mexicano during the concert, and at intermission, the West Side Y will lead a guided stretch.

Beautiful weather is setting the stage for today’s concert, when a legendary drummer and percussionist brings his talent to Dante Park!
 
Today, Wednesday, September 9, Bobby Sanabria will perform at Dante Park (Broadway & 64th Street) fromnoon to 1:30pm.
 
Bobby Sanabria is a native Nuyorican son of the South Bronx. His versatility as both a drummer and percussionist from small group to big band has become legendary. He’s performed and recorded with every major figure in the history of Latin jazz, jazz, and salsa, with such legends as Dizzy Gillespie, Tito Puente, Mongo Santamaria, Eddie Palmieri, Paquito D’Rivera, Candido, Charles McPherson, Larry Harlow, Ruben Blades, Celia Cruz, and the Father of Afro-Cuban jazz, Mario Bauzá. Sanabria’s big band albums have been nominated for Grammys nine times, and he has been named one of the top ten percussionists in the world by the readers and critics of DownBeat magazine for the last 12 years.
 
Enjoy free samples from P.J. Clarke’s during the concert, and at intermission, the West Side Y will lead a guided stretch.

Whatever the weather, there’s jazz on the schedule today!

Today, Wednesday, September 2, Pucci Amanda Jhones brings her rich, smooth, original voice to Dante Park at Broadway & 64th Street from noon to 1:30pm for Summer Jazz Sensations.

Born in Newark, New Jersey, Pucci draws from the blues and jazz tradition inspired by her father, Horace Luke Wooten, blues singer, harmonicist, and self-taught pianist. A graduate of the New School with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Classical and Contemporary Music, she has recorded with, shared the bandstand with, and opened for many jazz legends, including Kenny Barron, Reggie Workman, Houston Person, Stanley Turrentine, Dizzy Gillespie, Freddie Hubbard, and Freddy Cole. Internationally, Pucci has performed throughout Asia, Europe, and the United States. New York remains her artistic base; she has performed at the Blue Note, Birdland, Smalls, Mezzrow, Central Park SummerStage, Jazz at Kitano, Harlem Jazz Museum, and now, Dante Park!

Rosa Mexicano will be joining us this week with complimentary samples, while the West Side Y will lead a guided stretch.

With only a few weeks of concerts left, you won’t want to miss this one. We’ll see you in Dante Park!

There’s no use crying over spilled paint—at least not when the Lincoln Square BID Clean Team is on the job!

When the team spotted paint spilled around the bollards and Citibin at 67th Street and Columbus Avenue, they got right to work. With a pressure washer in hand, they tackled the mess and removed all of the paint from the pavement, then cleaned the paint off the Citibin with graffiti remover, giving the area a much-needed cleanup.

Hats off to the team that keeps Lincoln Square clean!

Clear skies, good vibes, and great jazz—today, a jazz prodigy takes the stage!

Join us as Leonieke Scheuble and Midnight Special bring their sound to Dante Park (Broadway & 64th Street) from noon to 1:30pm for another free Summer Jazz Sensations concert.

Leonieke was just 10 years old when legendary jazz organist Dr. Lonnie Smith heard her play piano and, after learning she wanted to play organ, gifted her a Hammond organ. She has earned an award from International Women in Jazz, appeared on WBGO, and gone on to become an award-winning Hammond Artist, performing around the world, including at the 2025 World Expo in Osaka.

Enjoy the music along with complimentary samples from Rosa Mexicano, while the West Side Y will join us to lead a guided stretch.

Come hear Leonieke play her portable organ and savor a little taste of Lincoln Square along the way!

A sunny, swinging afternoon awaits! ☀️🎵🎤

Today, Nancy Kelly brings her signature swing to Dante Park (Broadway & 64th Street) from noon to 1:30pm for another free Summer Jazz Sensations concert.

With a career spanning more than five decades, Kelly has performed on stages across the United States and around the world, from Singapore to Switzerland. She has also shared the bill with jazz greats including Betty Carter and Houston Person and is a two-time DownBeat Readers’ Poll winner for Best Female Jazz Vocalist.

And there’s more than music on the schedule—the West Side Y will also be there to lead a guided stretch.

Come enjoy an afternoon of great music, fresh air, and a little movement in Dante Park!
