Congratulations to all OMP students on an outstanding 2025–2026 season!

We are incredibly proud of your hard work, dedication, and growth throughout the year.

Our Season Finale Reception & Concert at Merkin Hall at Kaufman Music Center was a meaningful way to close the season and celebrate the progress, collaboration, and artistry that defined this year.

Last Friday, May 15, we celebrated the inaugural year of our Chamber Music program at of Lincoln Center with a culminating Quartet Masterclass led by CMS artist James Thompson. Our two OMP quartets had the privilege of being coached in a meaningful session that highlighted their growth throughout the year.

In this video, students were asked to stand when playing an important part in their piece—an engaging exercise that reinforced the importance of understanding not only one’s own part, but how all parts come together to create the ensemble sound.
