What is tree inequality?

Tree inequality is a little-known but serious problem in many major cities and must be addressed immediately.

Due to the effect of low tree density, lower-income neighborhoods are affected by increased temperatures and higher rates of heatstroke, crime, and disease.

The solution to this issue lies in increasing tree density in these areas. Not only do trees provide a cooling effect, but they also have a powerful calming influence on communities, resulting in a reduction of crime rates, improved air quality, and many more benefits. It is crucial that action is taken to address this issue.
