The woman in this picture is Lula. She was my maternal grandma. The Epitome of the Proverbs 31 Woman here on earth..at least in my eyes.😍

Some affectionately called her sister Barry, while some referred to her as Mavis James, Ms. Lula, Mrs. James, mammy, Ms. Julien or Nen Lula.
:
Her government as we would say was actually “ Mavis Lula Julien James” .. say her name. She was a real one: a humanitarian, a genuine lover of the poor & needy. A spreader of the gospel of Christ in her teachings and action.
:
She was a Wife, Mother, Grandma, Aunt, sister, a friend, mentor, leader, business woman, prayer warrior etc. she was the love of her family. We miss her.
:
I made a promise to her during her last days battling pancreatic cancer. A promise to continue her legacy. Her message of hope, to feed the hungry, clothe the poor, seek/provide refuge & a place to stay for the homeless.

The Lula J foundation Inc, is a charity set up to continue the work my deceased grandma started. I welcome all of you to partner with us “ To help one family at a time.”

The word of God encourages us to give to charity. It’s also part of financial wholeness. Giving is a financial principle that brings a great harvest. We don’t give to receive, we give just because....❤️🙏🏾
