Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater reunites with American Ballet Theatre, Ballet Hispánico, Dance Theatre of Harlem, and New York City Ballet for the sixth annual BAAND Together Dance Festival, Jul 28–Aug 1!

Experience breathtaking performances from these five companies, including a performance by the Ailey dancers of Judith Jamison’s moving duet 'A Case of You', accompanied by Diana Krall’s rendition of the Joni Mitchell song.

Before he became a member of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Christopher Taylor was an 11-year-old AileyCamper discovering his passion for dance. After attending AileyCamp for three summers, Christopher auditioned for The Ailey School and was accepted. This started a journey that would lead him to a professional career on some of the world’s most iconic stages.

For more than 30 years, AileyCamp has inspired young people ages 11–14 through dance, creativity, leadership, and self-confidence in an environment filled with joy, respect, and community. For campers like Christopher, it can change the course of a life.

Judith Jamison’s 'Hymn' returns to Brooklyn on June 4–7!

Created in 1993 as a deeply personal tribute to Alvin Ailey following his passing, 'Hymn' became one of Ms. Jamison’s most beloved works. It was not a farewell, but a powerful celebration of life, spirit, vulnerability, and dance at its fullest performed by the full company of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers and mother figures, and a special shoutout to Ailey dancers Constance Stamatiou and Sarah Daley-Perdomo, who just wrapped up the company’s 2026 U.S. Tour. After 14 weeks traveling across the country away from their children, today’s final bow made coming home even sweeter. ❤️

Today AILEY celebrates the beautiful life and lasting legacy of Judith Jamison. ❤️

Ms. Jamison gave so much of herself to dance, to AILEY, and to generations of artists and audiences around the world. Through her extraordinary spirit, she made people feel seen.

As a dancer and Artistic Director, she carried forward Alvin Ailey’s vision while helping AILEY grow into a home as she lovingly referred to as "the glass palace" for so many people across the globe.

Happy Birthday, Ms. Jamison.
