Intentions Without Force

A January Yoga Nidra–Centered Masterclass

This January offering is built around a simple, radical idea:
clarity doesn’t need to be forced.

Intentions Without Force is a Yoga Nidra–centered masterclass that invites insight to arise through deep rest rather than effort. Instead of setting resolutions or repeating affirmations, we create the conditions for intention to reveal itself naturally.

Yoga Nidra is the heart of this practice. Everything that comes before it — slow, repetitive vinyasa, gentle pranayama, restorative postures, and quiet meditation — exists solely to prepare the nervous system to settle, soften, and receive.

During the Nidra, intention is not imposed or reinforced. It is offered once, lightly, and then released. This approach teaches:
• Trust in the body’s natural intelligence
• Non-attachment even to insight
• The understanding that clarity doesn’t need repetition to be real

This is a subtle practice — and one that quietly challenges the urgency and pressure often associated with the beginning of the year.

Rather than asking What should I change?
We ask: What becomes clear when I stop pushing?
