We're back in person! Saturday, June 28th. 5pm. Bryant Park. This account is run by volunteer members of the NYC D**e March committee.

Individual volunteers post on this account in coordination with the larger committee. Last weekend, tens of thousands of d***s flooded 5th Ave to come together in joy, rage, resistance, gratitude, hope, and to MELT ICE ❤️‍🔥 🧊 Thank you to every single d**e who showed up and showed out to make the 34th NYC D**e March as incredible as it was.

On behalf of the committee, our hearts are full to bursting 💗 We do this for all of you. We do this for d***s who can’t be here to march with us. We do this for the d***s who came before us and the d***s who will come after us.

A huge thank you to our marshals for putting their bodies on the line to protect marchers and each other. And thank you to our friends on the sidelines providing us with support, presence, and water.

The gratitude we feel now will propel us forward to our 35th Annual march next year, and beyond. THANK YOU!!

the D**e March is finally here and we’ll be seeing you at Bryant park by 5PM!!!!! ❤️‍🔥 🧊

BOLD💥, BREATHTAKING🫢, AND DARING🦕!!

This year we bring back audacity and unapologetic reclamation of space: we bring LEGACY.

Uranium Girls 🧪and NYC D**e March 🧌come together and bring back Sapphie ✨🦕✨ to fight for d***s rights to remain present, audacious, and reclaim the spaces we've been discluded from!

Sapphasaura is a protest project inherited from the Le***an Feminist Liberation (LFL). Originally made in 1973, Sapphie was a 15 ft paper mache dinosaur to protest disclusion of women's history in the American Museum of Natural History. In 2025, 52 years later, members of Uranium Girls partnered with AMNH’s Pride division to reconstruct Sapphie. Last summer Sapphie led thousands of d***s in the 2025 annual NYC D**e March. 🦕🪅🎆

Although we tried crowdsourcing and donating her to various LGBTQ and d**e institutions last year, we weren't able to find a home for Sapphie. Sapphie unfortunately was eventually taken by the parks department and discarded. 💔

THIS YEAR we have been diligent and considerate about how to create a legacy piece that can be disassembled and stored. We want Sapphie to last years to come and be a piece that continues to be a beacon in our march. Sapphie is constructed to be a mobile water station, provide shade, as well as be a shelter for d***s to sit and take breaks on throughout the march. ⛺️🏝️🦕⛲️🛌
After the march, Sapphie will be disassembled and the various pieces will be temporarily held in community members’ homes! BUT we want to find Sapphie a safe and long term storage, so we are launching a fundraising initiative to 💰🪙PAY 🪙🦕SAPPHIE'S 🦕RENT🥞!! Donations will be accepted through our Donation link in our linktree! Please select the "Help Pay Sapphie’s Rent" campaign that can be selected from the dropdown list!🍾🪁🗽

We're hosting two Narcan trainings ahead of the march. Open to everyone! Both are on Zoom.
