Dear Friends,
The 2021 TCS New York City Marathon is set for November 7th and will commemorate the race’s 50th running with runners from all over the world participating both in person and virtually.
This year’s marathon will be even more meaningful as we continue to recover from the coronavirus pandemic and for me personally, as it will be my 20th race!
Once again, I will be running with New York Road Runners TEAM FOR KIDS to help 250,000 youth across the country to live healthier, more active lives.
TEAM FOR KIDS raises critical funds to support NYRR youth and community programs, including Rising New York Road Runners free youth program and events platform helping kids to build motivation, confidence and desire to be physically active for life. You can help further that mission and inspire the next generation of runners!
I hope to raise at least $2,620 in support of this worthy cause. Would you be so kind as to make a tax-deductible donation to help me cross the finish line? By making a donation of any amount, you will be making a difference in the lives of thousands of kids!
Anyone who makes a donation will be entered into a raffle to win:
1st Prize: Dinner for Two at Tio Pepe in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village;
2nd Prize: A copy of my forthcoming children’s book Marcelin and Marcy, For a Cleaner World;
3rd Prize: A logo pin from “Pick It Up Please” trash awareness campaign.
You can donate online now through my secure fundraising site*: https://runwithtfk.org/Profile/PublicPage/51070/51203
Thank you in advance for your encouragement and support. Your contribution will make an impact!
Warmest regards,
Claude
*Your donation is fully tax-deductible and you will receive an email of acknowledgement for tax records. Please remember you can double a donation if your employer has a matching gift program
Your donation will help provide critical funds for Rising New York Road Runners – NYRR’s free youth program and events platform – designed to help kids of all ages and abilities to build confidence, gain motivation, and develop healthy attitudes toward physical activity that last for life!
