That’s a wrap on NIVA ‘22 - Thank you so much for joining us at the inaugural conference!

Thank you to all our attendees, speakers, sponsors, venues, and artists for making NIVA ‘22 an overwhelming success. See you in 2023!

The first annual NIVA conference took place in Cleveland, July 11–12, 2022. NIVA '22 brought together our community of National Independent Venue Association members, agents, managers, affiliate members, and companies that were interested in partnering with NIVA. This in-person conference, which took place at the start of Independent Venue Week, was a place for NIVA members to discuss the state of the industry and topics including safety, technology, inclusion, diversity, equality, accessibility, booking, ticketing, and marketing, plus network with other
members.

Hello from Pickwick & Frolic/Hilarities 4th Street Theatre in Cleveland, home of day two of ! We're closing out our inaugural conference with another eventful day of programming.

Great meeting with NYIVA, NIVA, and U.S. Senate Press Secretaries Association! We discussed how the SOS Act turned into law, and the SVOG helped thousands of independent music and comedy venues, promoters, and festivals. We appreciate these amazing people who support and care for the independent music industry as well as our small businesses.

in news. Thank you, for speaking out on behalf of independent venues in New York.

NYIVA is asking state lawmakers for assistance in the form of a three-year, $150 million stabilization fund.

“It’s of dire importance that venues get this extra assistance - support not just from the fans, the people, but from municipalities and our government to make sure we can operate safely and continue to put on events for people. Losing venues would mean the state is losing a vital part of its entertainment and cultural identity. “ - Meier
