Achievement Lab youth hit the ground running with cross country standout Skylar Andrews, who led an electrifying athletic workshop packed with speed drills, endurance challenges, and team relays. Students learned the mechanics of powerful strides, efficient pacing, and maintaining form under fatigue—hallmarks of a champion’s discipline.

This week, we were joined by computer engineer Nigel Diggs, who rolled up his sleeves and helped us build working mini-telegraphs as part of our engineering unit! With Nigel’s guidance, students explored the science of magnetism, basic circuitry, and how electric pulses can transmit messages — just like in the early days of communication.
