Transforming Classrooms Through Personalized Digital Learning

Our Digital Learning Platform is transforming classrooms by making learning more personalized, engaging, and accessible.

Through interactive lessons, instant feedback, gamified activities, and personalized assessments, students are encouraged to learn at their own pace while staying motivated every step of the way. At the same time, teachers can easily track each student’s progress, identify learning gaps, and provide the support each child needs to succeed.

As we continue refining the platform, we’re expanding our training, developing new learning content, strengthening school support, and growing our team to reach even more children.

Help us bring personalized digital learning to more schools. Your support will help equip classrooms, train Education Support Officers, and provide the technology and resources needed to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive.

We are excited to share a significant step toward strengthening digital education at Shree Chandrawori Secondary School.

During our recent visit, we:
✅ Signed an MoU for ICT integration at the school
✅ Set up the Learning Management System (LMS), including the server and router infrastructure
✅ Distributed 15 Android tablets with keyboards and 27 headphones to support digital learning
✅ Conducted LMS training sessions for mathematics and science teachers, as well as the school principal

By combining technology, training, and access to digital resources, we are helping create more engaging learning opportunities for students and empowering educators with new teaching tools.

Together, we are working toward a future where every child has the opportunity to learn, explore, and thrive in a digital world.

A wall comes alive at Shree Kalika Devi Basic School in Makwanpur.

This mural tells a story that belongs to the community - students walking home from school, moving right to left across the wall, carrying their knowledge with them and painting the landscape as they go. Every element in the scene is rooted in Makwanpur district: its geography, its nature, its identity.

The concept wasn’t handed down - it was shaped by the kids and community themselves, from idea to approval. That’s the way it should be.

Brought to life by artists Rupak, Mrigaja, Manju, and Ajay - painted on the walls of a school built with the support of , and the belief that every school wall can be a canvas for pride.

Today, on International Labour Day, we take a moment to appreciate the hands that are shaping the future.

At Shree Balkanth Basic School in Dhading, the progress is steadily taking form. The walls now stand complete, with door and window frames installed, giving the structure its first true sense of space. Work is actively underway on essential sanitation facilities, with excavation completed for the septic tank, soak pit, and toilet foundations. The plinth beam for the toilet block is currently in progress—another step closer to making the school fully functional for its students.

Behind every milestone are skilled workers, laborers, and community members whose dedication often goes unseen but never unvalued. Today, we celebrate their effort, resilience, and craftsmanship. This school exists because of them.

A heartfelt thank you as well to AOKC / Moving Mountains ( ) for making this project possible through their support.

Brooklyn, March 25 💛

Still thinking about that night…
To everyone who showed up — THANK YOU.

Seeing our long-time supporters and so many new faces in one room meant everything. Truly.

For us, sharing this journey with you is what it’s all about.

Every ticket you bought.
Every Oja Moon animal or photography book you picked up.
Every QR code donation.

It all matters.

Because of you, we were able to show the real impact —
Schools being built
Smiles that grow brighter
Dreams taking shape

You saw it all:
Before & after toilets.
Before & after water systems.
Desks, furniture, libraries, computer labs…

And most importantly — you showed us how much you care.

Taking time out of your busy lives to be there, in person, is something we don’t take lightly.

We’re so grateful.
We can’t wait to see you again soon.

Missed the event? You can still be part of the change. [link in bio]

World Water Day – March 22
Rebuilding a school in Nepal is never just about bricks and classrooms. It’s about giving children a place where they can actually feel safe, healthy, and ready to grow.

And one of the quietest, most powerful parts of that? Clean water.

When a child walks into school and has access to safe drinking water, everything shifts. They get sick less often. They show up more. They can focus on learning instead of fighting off illness. It’s not complicated — but it changes everything.

At Kids of Kathmandu, we see clean water not as an add-on, but as a foundation — as non-negotiable as a roof or a desk.

Every school we help rebuild is a chance to get this right, for every child, in every corner of Nepal.

This World Water Day, let’s say it plainly:
Clean water in schools isn’t a luxury. It’s where education actually begins.

On the ground, progress continues - and the work hasn’t stopped.

Construction is steadily moving forward on our 12th and 13th school buildings. From laying foundations to raising walls, each step brings us closer to safe, permanent classrooms for children who need them most.

More field updates coming soon.

16 years in, Kids of Kathmandu is scaling its impact across Nepal.

We’re building our 12th and 13th schools and using adaptive AI to help teachers personalize learning for every student - even in the most remote regions.

This gives children access to the full national curriculum, real feedback, and learning plans tailored to their needs.

This work takes grit, knowledge, and computing power.
We’ve built the first two. Now we need help with the third.

If you have a laptop from 2022 or later you’re no longer using and would like to donate it for a tax deduction (US only), please DM us or email [email protected]
