It was a pleasure for CRMC to collaborate with American Express and visit its headquarters in New York. We learned more about AMEX's culture, its Global Risk & Compliance team, and its Internship Program.

During the event, Moderator Megan Scala and Panelists Karen Corrie, Teuku Arcky Meraxa, Emily Mo, and Vibhati Joshi all shared meaningful insights about their work and the industry. CRMC members also had the pleasure of networking with them after the panel. We want to sincerely thank American Express for hosting us, and we are looking forward to continuing to build our relationship with AMEX.

Last but not least, CRMC wants to congratulate our Vice President Tumenkhuslen Batdelger and our Event Director Martina Chen on joining AMEX in 2024! They worked behind the scenes to make this event happen.

In this virtual workshop, you will learn the practical approaches for “must know” and “must do” best practices to improve and enhance your position in landing your desired first job in the marketplace.
 
The components of this workshop include approaches in opportunities identification, cast a wide net vs. targeted career pursuits, networking and relationship mapping, different interview readiness and preparation techniques, company study and due diligence (at organization, department, and role levels), case study interviews, critical behavior attributes and techniques, and some basic but important communication skills.

We will provide approaches and examples of each component resulting from establishing an understanding of these concepts and will schedule individual follow ups with interested students to work in specific areas in more depth.
