CKI will be showing our appreciation for all the strong, beautiful, and hard working women by handing out goodie bags filled with candies/chocolates with origami flowers to the women of LIU on March 1st from 12 PM - 2 PM at Freshens.

"Since the 1870s, The Bowery Mission has served New Yorkers experiencing homelessness, hunger and other crises. Each meal and every service is an invitation to residential and community programs that help clients make progress towards individual goals such as regaining sobriety, reconnecting with family and faith, and preparing for work and independent living. To empower children to thrive and succeed, we also offer year-round opportunities for enrichment for youth."

Circle K International is partnering up with The Bowery Mission and we are looking for volunteers to take part in providing meals for the people in need. Your support will rebuild hope for the homeless, hunger, and poverty in NYC! You are welcome to choose the shift that you want to volunteer in.

Volunteer service will be provided.

"Kiwanis International is a global community of clubs, members and partners dedicated to improving the lives of children one community at a time. Today, we stand with more than 550,000 members from K-Kids to Key Club to Kiwanis and many ages in between in 80 countries and geographic areas. Each community has different needs, and Kiwanis empowers members to pursue creative ways to serve the needs of children, such as fighting hunger, improving literacy and offering guidance. Kiwanis clubs host nearly 150,000 service projects each year."

CKI will be hosting a fundraiser of Valentine's Day for DCON x Kiwanis!

We will be selling heart shaped donuts from Dunkin Donuts for our Circle K members and Kiwanians! The event will take place on February 14th from 10 - 11:45 AM in front of the library.

We are looking for volunteers who will be able to come and help with the event! Volunteer service will be available.

“Since 1983, Xavier Mission has welcomed, served, and empowered our guests with dignity and respect. Founded by the Church of St. Francis Xavier, in 2012 we became an independent, secular, for-impact organization. Today, Xavier Mission operates five community outreach programs that provide a continuum of services to those facing difficult times. Each individual program provides an opportunity for our guests to take a step towards achieving safety, stability, and self-sufficiency, and works in collaboration with our other programs to offer holistic care and support."

We are singularly passionate about engaging the public to help us get everyone involved in curing blood cancer, whether as a donor, a volunteer or a financial supporter. It all begins with one remarkable person, one life-changing swab and one huge win — finding a match and a cure."

CKI is bringing this amazing event back to campus as a way to raise awareness and gain volunteering
experience! The event will take place from Monday, January 23rd to Thursday, January 26th at the Health Science Lobby.

We are looking for volunteers who will be able to come and help serve this wonderful mission! Volunteers who sign up must attend a mandatory training session for swabbing protocols prior to the event (~30 minutes). Volunteer service will be available.

Join CKI and Anti-Substance Abuse (ASA) club for our mental health awareness event where we will providing pizza and chatting with all of you ! Feel free to take this time to write out your fears, worries, and positive affirmations before we transition into finals week!

Circle K International (CKI) will be hosting a hosting drive for The Bowery Mission from Monday 11/7 to Saturday 12/10. We are accepting clothes that have never been worn before, with or without tags attached. The donation box will be outside of the Promise Office with a sign in sheet where donors can record their LIU IDs.

After the donation period, the CKI family will be collecting all of the donated clothes and bringing them to The Bowery Mission on Saturday 12/10 from 11 AM - 2 PM at 90 Lafayette St New York, NY 10013.

Volunteer service will be provided on the day of the donation (Saturday 12/10) and individuals who donate clothes will receive an extra service hour.

The District Board is hosting the New York Speaking (NYS) at The Desmond!

The event will be taking place Friday, November 18th to Sunday, November 20th.

They will be hosting
many interactive activities such as "Cancel out Cancer, Shatter the Silence, Stop the Violence, and BrickxBrick" ! The theme for this year is Carnival so get ready to have some fun and welcome in the service year!

The registration deadline is, November 1st, at 11:59 pm. Registration form is on our link tree!
We hope that some of you will be able to attend and have a wonderful time!
