Are you able, ready, willing to help at a few more events in the coming days and weeks? For example, available to distribute WBAI flyers at Commons events? concerts? street fairs?

WBAI needs 108 more votes from listener-members to reach quorum. (As of Jan 1, 706 had voted either by paper ballot or on the computer.) The staff, which votes separately for different staff candidates, has achieved quorum. (Staff members who haven't voted yet, should vote regardless!)

Your ballot has to be received by MONDAY, JANUARY 4, 2016, by 11:59 pm.

It is important that you VOTE. The future of Pacifica and WBAI may hang in the balance.

If you have a paper ballot that you didn't send in, it's too late to throw it in the mail. You need to walk it in to the station on Monday, Jan. 4th, between 6 pm and 11:59 pm.

You can still cast your vote online. For information on the candidates at WBAI, go to
http://elections.pacifica.org/wordpress/stations/wbai/

To get your Unique Password, go here:

Ignore that it says Pacifica Ballot Request/Replacement Form.
Be sure to place WBAI in the top slot, and click whether you are a listener-member or staff. (Volunteers are listeners, for the most part. "Staff" are not 'volunteers' but 'unpaid producers' mostly.)

When they send you back your unique PIN or Password, cast your vote here:
https://pacifica.simplyvoting.com/

You are eligible to vote as a listener if you have contributed a minimum of $25 or volunteered 3 hours or more at the station between August 18, 2014 and August 17, 2015. Your vote is needed TODAY!

Any problem? Contact the WBAI Local Election Supervisor, Gene Johnson, Jr. at [email protected] or (347) 927-0701, or the national supervisor at [email protected] .

Eligible voters can also cast their vote at WBAI's offices between 6:00 PM and 11:59 PM on Monday, January 4th, 2016. The station is located at 388 Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11217, between Hoyt and Bond Streets.

Remember we need your vote to make quorum before 11:59 PM on Monday, January 4th, 2016.

******************************
Voting Online on January 4th
Eligible voters may cast their vote online for the Local Station Board elections at the station during the hours posted below. Voters’ eligibility will be verified using the station membership list and will be issued their unique password to complete their vote on the computer kiosk. Each voter will receive a receipt code to confirm their vote was accepted and can also be used to verify their vote was included in the final results.

Online voting is available 24/7 from any computer or smartphone until 11:59 PM eastern standard time by visiting https://pacifica.simplyvoting.com and using your unique password. If you have lost or do not have your voting password, click here to complete a request for new one.
