found some 10 year old paydirt in the back of my garage that I forgot about

Best single piece I found so far

Went back to the Lyell (NZ) and cleaned out a nice bedrock basin and found this beauty at the bottom. Looks like a little heart.

Good day at our claims

The pasture took up alot of my summer. But its mostly worked out now. So I went up and did some real dig and detect mining. Just shy of 5 grams. The claims are out true bread and butter. So its good to find a another stringer right sway.

Blows my mind that these little bits are worth so much these days

Lots off little bits from a day trip near my town. Didn’t realise until I got home that they added up to over 7g which is $1200 AUD. Current gold price is making this hobby quite profitable

Its not much, but its honest work.

I dug 4 feet down, found a long bedrock post rock poking up about 2 feet down. I followed the rock straight down and hit a massive layer of black sand underneath a thick clay layer. If my research is correct, im very close to the bedrock floor. This is the first time I've ever run into this scenario, with so much iron. So far, I'm about 8 inches deep into the black sand. It's a slow process since the river stones are so tightly packed, and pulling these rocks out is a challenge being wedged into this clay and heavy black sand. All of the gold here is what I found above the clay layer in a trench i dug, following up the center of the old abandoned creek bed. After finding the bedrock post, I started going deep down and may just focus on going deeper until I hit the absolute floor. Wish me luck that this next layer will be the absolute payload!

How much would this be worth?

I look for gold and I found this beauty it’s 3.9 grams. And wondering how much it would be worth. I was told T shape are very rare and worth more than normal
