Latino voters in Wisconsin face a surge of immigration-related disinformation on social media and television. Meanwhile, Spanish-language radio is underutilized to reach this same group of voters.

Alfredo Corchado's new story exposes a lack of investment in Spanish-language radio by Republicans and Democrats in Wisconsin, where Latino voters have felt ignored in the months leading up to the election.

"The recent decision by the Biden administration to seize Kremlin-run websites and bring criminal charges against two employees of Russian state media for attempting to interfere in the U.S. election are reminders that there are many forces pushing disinformation and misinformation ahead of this year’s election.

For Latinos, the problem is compounded by a lack of culturally specific and accessible, accurate information."
