Today, our Clutch Recruits USA family mourns the loss of Coach Jose Castro and his mother.

Coach Jose was more than a baseball coach. He was a mentor, a role model, and someone who genuinely cared about the young people he coached. He made a lasting impact on so many kids throughout Brooklyn, including my son Danny during his time playing youth baseball with the Brooklyn Bonnies.

Some people never realize how much a simple word of encouragement, patience, or belief in a child can mean. Coach Jose gave that to so many families and young athletes over the years. His kindness, dedication, and presence will never be forgotten.

We send our deepest prayers and condolences to his family, friends, players, and everyone whose life he touched.

Rest in peace, Coach Jose Castro and Mrs. Castro. Your legacy lives on through the many lives you helped shape.

From early mornings on the softball field to late nights chasing a dream, the hard work started long before the white coat. 🥎🩺👓

As captain in both high school and college, she learned leadership, discipline, resilience, and how to push through when things got tough. Student-athletes are often the first sought after because they know how to manage pressure, lead teams, stay committed, and never quit when the game gets hard.

Now that same dedication is opening the door to a new journey in optometry. From student-athlete to graduate student and now stepping into a doctorate program, every chapter has been built through sacrifice, determination, and heart. We could not be more proud of this one and everything she has accomplished to reach this moment. The future is bright. 💫🏙️

We recently received a message from a parent sharing that, through the EEP Prep Program, their student-athlete received tutoring and test prep support and was accepted to all three elite schools they applied to.

This moment reflects the real, lasting impact of EEP Law’s commitment to young people and families. EEP doesn’t just sponsor programs they invest in futures, remove barriers, and create access to high-quality academic opportunities that help student-athletes thrive in and out of the classroom.

Through the EEP Prep Program, EEP Law is helping develop confident scholars, disciplined student-athletes, and the leaders of tomorrow.

We are also incredibly grateful for our dedicated tutors and teachers, whose passion, expertise, and belief in our students help turn opportunity into achievement.

What happens when an incredible NYCPS science teacher leads with passion, care, and intention and gives her students the space to explore, create, and imagine?
You get pure magic at D75!

Using motion, physics, and creativity, these brilliant neurodiverse students transformed a simple pendulum experiment into breathtaking works of art. Every line, curve, and splash tells a story of curiosity, confidence, and joy. This wasn’t just a lesson, it was an experience where students felt seen, capable, and inspired.

This is what it looks like when educators believe deeply in their students and design learning that honors how they think, feel, and express themselves.
