October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

One bruise can heal.
The fear often doesn’t.

Behind closed doors, countless women, men, and children are living with abuse, believing they have nowhere to turn. Today, we stand for every survivor who found the strength to leave, every victim whose voice was silenced, and every person still waiting for someone to say:

“I believe you. You are not alone.”

Join Empowering Saves Lives (ESL) as we educate, advocate, and empower our community to recognize the signs, support survivors, and help break the cycle of domestic violence.

Awareness is the first step.
Action is the next.
Together, we can save lives.

💜 Silence protects abusers.
💜 Education protects families.
💜 Compassion restores hope.
💜 One conversation can save a life.

Let’s turn awareness into action.

🚨Domestic Violence Doesn't Always Start With a Bruise.🚨

Sometimes the warning signs are hidden in everyday interactions: backhanded compliments, constant criticism, gaslighting, controlling behavior, public humiliation, disrespect behind closed doors, or a partner who slowly chips away at your confidence and self-worth.

Pay attention to how someone speaks to you, treats you, and makes you feel. The signs are often there long before the violence escalates. Too many women ignore the red flags, hoping things will get better, only to find themselves trapped in dangerous situations.

As Darline Tens reminds us, vigilance can save lives. Trust your instincts. Know your worth. Set boundaries. And most importantly, know when it's time to walk away.

The signs are talking to you. Listen before it's too late.

💜 If you or someone you know is experiencing abuse, please seek support. You are not alone.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE MUST STOP NOW. 🚨

Domestic violence is not a private matter—it is a public health crisis affecting countless women, children, and families every day. Silence protects abusers, while awareness, education, and action save lives.

In this powerful message, Naama François speaks out against domestic violence and reminds us why we must continue to raise our voices, support survivors, and hold perpetrators accountable.

No one deserves to live in fear. No one deserves to be abused. No title, status, position, or influence should ever shield an abuser from accountability.

At Empowering Saves Lives (ESL), we stand with survivors, advocate for systemic change, and fight for a future where every woman can live free from violence and intimidation.

Watch. Listen. Share. Speak up. Together, we can break the cycle and save lives.
